A Style Guide for Love Session

Timeless, Soft, and Romantic

To make the most of our ethereal white silk and gray ribbon setup, we recommend a Monochromatic or Neutral wardrobe. This ensures you and your pet look like a cohesive piece of art.

The Recommended Color Palette

Stick to "Stone" tones to match the studio’s aesthetic:

  • Whites & Creams: Pearl, ivory, and marshmallow.

  • Grays: Dove gray, charcoal, slate, or silver.

  • Subtle Blue: A very pale "dusty blue" works beautifully with gray ribbons.

  • Pro-Tip for Owners: If your pet has white fur, try wearing gray so there is a nice contrast when you cuddle them. If your pet is black or dark-colored, a white top will make their silhouette pop

Fabric & Texture

Since the backdrop is silky and smooth, adding different textures to your outfit creates depth in the photo:

  • Knitwear: A chunky cream sweater or a ribbed turtleneck adds a cozy, "homey" feel.

  • Linen/Cotton: For a light, breezy, and organic look.

  • Denim: Light-wash or gray denim keeps the vibe casual but clean.

  • Avoid: Shiny satins (you don't want to blend too much into the drapes) or heavy patterns/logos.

Footwear

  • Barefoot or Socks: For a cozy, intimate look on the silk drapes.

  • Clean Loafers/Mules: In tan, gray, or white.

  • Please ensure shoe soles are cleaned before stepping onto the white drapery!

For the Furry Stars

  • Natural is Best: Their fur is their best outfit!

  • Accessories: We have gray silk ribbons on-site to use as "flower girl" style neckties or loose bows for their collars.

  • Avoid: Brightly colored harnesses or neon leashes. If necessary, use a simple leather or neutral fabric collar.
